It is estimated that around 17 million people died due to the Nazi Regime, in order from most to least; Jews, Soviet Civilians, Polish Civilians, Serbian Civilians, Institutionalized and Disabled Peoples, Romas, Jehovah's Witnesses, "Undesirables" and Criminal Offenders, and Homosexuals.
As you can imagine, often times people do not know the wide range of people and individuals directly affected and targeted by the Nazis. These were all people either looked at as less than human or someone in the way of the Nazi progression of the Aryan Race.
It is said between 200,000 and 500,000 Romas (or Gypsies) were killed. Berlin was specifically targeted during this time before the Olympics took place and Germany. There was a need to 'clean' the city according to Hitler.
Interestingly enough, Berlin during the 1920s was incredibly liberal and becoming more and more accepting of gays, lesbians, and trans peoples. But as soon as Hitler became Chancellor, this was one of the first thing he worked to get reversed.
Another group targeted by Nazis includes Black and African American people. By the 1920s, around 24,000 Black and African American people were living in Germany, they were seen as a threat to a pure race and were quickly prosecuted.
